So, after having The Shins as my most listened to band for quite some time, I finally saw them tonight. It was amazing, and I was really glad about the balance of new songs to their older material. Of course, the highlight of the night was probably the last song, Sleeping Lessons, which is just to perfect of a live performance song.
I went a little overboard at the merch stand, but like you don’t get stuff and not buy a tote bag…and the free lithograph poster we got for ordering from Gilt, is so so so rad. Really excited to get it framed and up on my wall!
They didn’t play Gone for Good or Pink Bullets but it’s ok, I still love James Mercer…….Best part about this week is that I have the Black Keys to see on Friday with my best friend again :)
